It's me, Allen. I know, it's kind of hard to recognize people like this.

The same way you did. We've been brought here by something the locals call the Pale Pony. Not just us, either. People from different times and even universes.

*And he...doesn't seem to find this at all crazy or hard to believe.*

*Is that? Oh, just his luck. Well, he supposes this is better than some of the other people he's found unpleasant showing up...at least this one's just annoying. May as well make sure she knows he's not here to make trouble, though, so he approaches with a flat expression, a sheathed saber hanging over one flank.*

Well well well...if it isn't the 100-Series Prototype, Miss Doesn't-want-to-give-her-name.

*Yes, he is still a bit sore about your attitude during that conversation.*

[MOMO jumps instantly recognizing the tone. She turns and gives him an unhappy look. Why does HE have to be here. They are on a busy street so she feels safe from him but still he makes her nervous.]

To talk, nothing more. It's been quite a while since we last met and I'm well aware of the potential for time discrepancies. As I would rather avoid conflict bred from misunderstandings, it seems prudent to make sure you're up to date.

More than you know. This is the second place like this I've been to...and I know someone else who's been to a third.

[She is curious about these time discrepancies but she doesn't trust what he is saying.]

To put it simply, our cause for conflict is in the past. I have no need nor intent to do anything to bring harm to you or, should they arrive, your circle of friends...so long, of course, as nobody else sees fit to re-open hostilities.

[MOMO looks at him trying to gauge if he is tell the truth. It makes sense after all they are ponies here but its hard to trust him.]

Then working together serves both of our interests and working at odds would only serve to decrease the likelihood of our success. Seeing as I've already been pulled from two of these places before having the chance to see the situation through to completion, I would rather not suffer any unavoidable setbacks.

[MOMO takes a step back in surprise.]

The most likely culprit is an entity called the Pale Pony...one who has evidently already been responsible for the destruction of an alternate version of this world. What it wants with us is unclear, but we can assume its actions aren't in the best interests of us or this world.

On a more day-to-day level, this town is called Ponyville. *He still feels silly saying that name.* The natives are largely friendly, if somewhat suspicious of us newcomers due to the efforts of a magazine called Hoovesweek to paint us in a negative light. You should be able to find somewhere that will allow you to stay for free in exchange for pulling your own weight with relative ease. My suggestion is the Commune, its specific purpose is to ensure that none of the new arrivals are left without shelter.

You'll be able to find a large amount of general information, including instructions on how to use the magic inherent to your new form, at the Golden Oaks library. It's a large treehouse in the middle of the town and should be difficult to miss. I suggest you familiarize yourself with your new abilities quickly, as your Ethers and Observational Realian functions will be operating at half of their ordinary capacity.
