[ She stops her upraised hoof from touching the phoenix, but keeps gazing at it nonetheless. ] What does he eat?

Rodents. Radroaches and other insects. Thankfully, irridiated pray actually makes him stronger.

[If she had the equipment to tell, Fluttershy and Velvet would realize that appearance aside, Pyrelight is no longer radioactive.]

You... you say there are others. Taken from their worlds? Like me?

Well, yes. ... I hadn't heard of a ... war in Equestria. That sounds just awful...

[ She trots back into her cottage, and finds a bag of dried insects which she keeps for the critters that need them. ] And I definitely haven't heard of a Ministry of Peace...

Can I get you anything? Some tea? You've probably had a hard journey here... [ She offers the insects to the phoenix. ]

No, actually, it's that I lived outside of what used to be Sweet Apple Acres, before the war. Before MY WORLD'S war.

And from the sound of things, Applejack and Fluttershy were the only sane Ministers in the entire Equestrian government.

My barn door doesn't swing that way, but thank you for your interest.

[Meanwhile, Pyrelight makes a happy little chirp and takes the bugs from Fluttershy's bare hoof. The warmth of his body is tangible even at this safe distance.]

Of course. I was a little surprised to find somepony already living in my cottage when I got here. [ Fluttershy puts a kettle on. She smiles at the phoenix. ] You were just hungry too, weren't you?

[ She takes out a couple of mugs and some leaves to begin brewing, hesitant to ask the question that she wants to. ] What do you... um... know about... the other me, Miss, um... [ Oh, horsefeathers. She doesn't know the other pony's name. ]

Are... you all right? [ The other pony looks very, very lost. ]

[Pyrelight trills an affirmative response, then half hops - half flies to Velvet's side and alights on her armored shoulder.]

[She sighs.]

The first thing you have to understand is the Ministries. Six government agencies, founded to aid Luna in running the civilian and military government. I - I think you can guess who founded them easily enough.

[ She frowns. ] I ... guess that I could. In... our future? So soon? [ Fluttershy's ears droop. The last thing she wants - ever - is violence in the place she calls home. ]

I... hope not. I wouldn't wish my world on anyone.

[She chuckles.]

Yours - or rather, my Fluttershy's - was the Ministry of Peace. It was in charge of diplomatic operations, feeding the hungry, caring for the sick. Applejack was in charge of the Ministry of Technology - the Ministry of Wartime Technology, but she never called it that and despised the arms dealers that hid under her aegis.

There is a reason I thought of the two of them - of your... counterpart? - As the only sane Ministers.

Are... are all of my other friends okay, too? [ The kettle hisses, Fluttershy gets up to fix the tea. She's a little afraid to hear the answer. ]

Fluttershy, I'm from... I don't even know how many generations removed from the Ministries and the war. Their age was long past.

Oh. [ Fluttershy brewed the tea and brought back the cups, not looking at the other pony. ]

Your counterpart recorded this. Memory orb. When everything was falling apart, she urged diplomacy with the Zebra. I don't know if you can read it, it's tied to Unicorn magic, but...

We fought the Zebras?... [ This saddens her even more. She takes the orb gingerly and peers at it. Not sure how to get it to work. ] How do you... read it? [ She brings it close to her eye and peers into it. ]

[Darkness. All was darkness before the blue pegasus realized she was still alive, still drawing breath, and opened her eyes. What she saw alarmed her more than a bit. Was this heaven? Was this hell? And this form...

Something was seriously wrong. She needed to get back to what had been her homeland. Geoffrey, Soren, Titania...they were counting on her. So after she steadied herself, it only took a few minutes to get used to the joints, and she began looking around. For those who were familiar with another blue and green pony, this one would look similar. Hair and body and eye colors were the same, but her mane and tail were cropped, the body was more muscular and scarred, and she was missing part of her left ear. Her cutie mark was also slightly different: the same Sentinel shield on top of lance and pitchfork, but with wings behind...and the air she carries is much more of one who has been through rough times lately, as has the blue and white armor she carries.

[She drinks the tea.]

[Staring blankly at just about everything around her was one curious-looking white Pegasus. Instead of the normal, bird-like wings most had, hers were far more bat-like. In addition, her ears were far more curved and point than they should be, while the whites of her eyes were black with red irises. To finish off her appearance, a pair of red cross earrings hung down from her pointed ears and a brown harness with a red gem at the center was wrapped around her neck, chest, and back.

That's right, Overlord Pram, the so-called "Great Oracle"...was a pony. And she hated every last second of it.

After exploring for a few minutes or so, she angrily stomps her feet and groans.]

Uggg! Where in the netherworld am I?! And why is everything so cute?! It's making my stomach turn.

[Possibly after finding out just what the hell is going on, Pram has decided to take a walk over to the nearest place to eat. Turns out walking on all fours when you've never actually done it before takes a lot out of you. Especially if you keep falling over. Thankfully practice makes perfect, so she did get the hang of it soon enough, and worked up an appetite while doing so.

Being a demon, and an Overlord at that meant she didn't feel the need to bother with any sort of money. She'd just walk in there and take what she wanted. But upon arrival and getting a good look at the food, a realization dawned on her.]

...how am I supposed to eat with hooves.

[Standing on her hind legs, Pram looks at her two front legs and groans once more.

And then her stomach growls loudly enough to wake the dead. Okay, not that loud.]

This? Oh, no no no, this wasn't my doing. As much as I wish I'd thought of it, I am trying to cut back on extremely disruptive acts of chaos.

[He strikes a pose for a moment, before snapping his fingers and turning all buildings in the area bright green with yellow polka-dots.]

Now, minorly disruptive ones...

[ Fluttershy smiles reassuringly at her. ] It's okay. I can help you. My... my name's Fluttershy. What's yours?

[Zetta had expected -- don't even think 'feared' -- this day since he lost his Netherworld and became a pony. A great mana power appearing in Equestria. Surely another Overlord, come to attack him and attempt to claim the honor of defeating the most badass freaking Overlord in the cosmos!]

[Well, no one could say Zetta ever ran away from a fight. In a flash of magic, the mighty unicorn appears before her, his head lifted proudly to display a mane and tail doing the unmistakable flaming-into-bats-thing. His cocky grin lasts about two seconds before he blinks, then just sort of slumps out of that pose.]
