What kind of CR do you desire: Any CR really. He's been getting some negative CR as well as positive lately, which is excellent. Would you be interested in romance: Yes, BUT it would need a lot of time for build up (plus he needs to get over his fear of love first). What are you explicitly NOT looking for: Nothing too traumatizing just yet. I don't want to get concerns about making him too miserable again.
