The statue of Discord sits in the middle of the Canterlot gardens.

From here, most of the city is visible. Beyond that, there's nothing but darkness. The sun is shining above, but darkness creeps across the sky as well, moving ever forward. It does not roil. There's no hint of movement, of anything lurking within. It is simply an empty void.

Soon, it will overtake the city too.
