[The feed clicks on with a curious pony tapping at the scroll. Tilting her head and blinking a couple of times, she started speaking.]
Um... hello, Ponyville! My name is... well, you can call me Chica. I've been told a little bit about this world, and well... I'm so glad to meet all of you!
I-I do have one question, though... what do you all eat around here? I'm... [not used to having to eat] not used to whatever food that ponies need to eat. Grass, maybe? Hay?
I hope to see you all around sometime. Have a good day!
[B, Action]
Gaining the ability to feel had its obvious downsides - and for Chica, loneliness and guilt were very welcoming to her. As she trotted out slowly onto a hill under the moonlight, she sat down and looked up at the stars.
She remembered. Her malfunctioning facial recognition chip, her blacking out at times and hearing about attacks the next day, every single time. Her uncertainty about whether she was responsible for them... she knew Toy Freddy, Bonnie and Foxy had the same problem, but that didn't help her own guilt. All she had wanted to do was entertain the children who came to Freddy Fazbear's, and do that alongside her friends. ... The others she was programmed to be friends with. She didn't know what it was like to have a friend. What it felt like to have someone else's trust.
It actually hurt. And not physical pain, which she knew to a degree - a pain she couldn't explain, which made it even worse for her.
Sighing softly, she closed her eyes...
"Let's try to make it right, don't want to start a fight And we're so sorry if we give you all a little fright; We're not so scary if you see us in the daylight, You'll be so happy just as long as you survive the night..."
After that was sung a couple of times, it changed just slightly...
"Let's try to make it right, don't want to start a fight And I'm so sorry if I gave you all a little fright; I'm not so scary if you see me in the daylight, I'll be so happy just as long as you survive the night..."
She then rested her head between her forehooves, the last words lingering into the wind.
