Fluttershy (Terminal Tokyo AU) | My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
It wasn't so much being home from the Digital World, as she was used to traveling more freely from her world to the other. But after a recent visit to the Digital World, something just...didn't feel right upon her return home.
More concerning, she realized, was that her Digivice wasn't working any more.]

(If nothing else, at least that's a familiar voice calling out to her...and a familiar pony to match! Yup, that's a Twilight Sparkle alright: cutie mark, unicorn, purple coat...no wings on this one, but everything else looks genuinely Twilight.)

[She jumped just a bit, preoccupied as she was fiddling with her Digivice. But seeing Twilight she smiled, coming a little out of her sweater to smile at her friend.]
Oh, Twilight...! Actually, I was -
[A pause, when she notices the lack of wings.]
Twilight, what happened to your wings?
no subject
(A pause.)
How familiar are you with alternate universes?
no subject
An alternate version?
[She takes a moment to process this, then nods a little.]
I'm a...bit familiar with the idea. It still takes some getting used to, but...
[She's taking it in stride, anyway.]
So is this an alternate version of Ponyville?

[She glanced around; it certainly did feel like home, but somehow different. It probably wouldn't take too long to adjust.]
I think I'll be all right, thank you. But what's going on here? Is everything all right?

The...Pale Pony...?
[She had never even heard of anypony like that before.]
Why is she here...? And what do you mean, "absorbed" Equestria?
no subject
As for why she's here...no one really knows. It's assumed that she's here to bring us here and that she's testing us. I'm not entirely sure why, but I believe it may be for our harmonics. How well we interact with this world, with each other...that kind of harmony.
no subject
D-Dead...? That's...that's terrible...!
What...If we don't pass this "test" of hers...If she doesn't deem us worthy enough...could she do the same thing to...to this Equestria?
no subject
...But since we don't have any leads at the moment, the best thing we can do is wait. Something will happen...something always happens. The next one might have a clue. I can't say for sure, but if there's one thing I can say, it's that there are a lot of secrets to this Equestria and not all of them are nice.

[Fluttershy sighed softly, shaking her head. It was like the issues with the powerful Digimon, and everything that was happening in the Digital World.]
It can be hard just...waiting sometimes...
[But if there was nothing else they could do, then what choice did they have?]
...How can I help?
no subject
...What are your latest memories from home?
no subject
From home?
Mm...Defeating Tirek, after he was stealing everypony's abilities...and Twilight receiving her castle...
I-I wasn't...at home before coming here, though...

W-Well...something like it. Although it...was a bit better when I was last there...
no subject
What was it like?
no subject
A-Actually it...started out a lot like what it's sounding here. Except in that place, the Digital World, there were these creatures called Digimon. Most of the Digimon were pretty friendly; some resembled animals, or plants, or even inanimate objects like candles, and they could change forms to become stronger. A few were even meant to be the partners of those who were brought in to the Digital World. I actually had two partners, myself...
But there were also...really powerful Digimon. They...Those were kind of like what the Pale Pony sounds like...and while some were friendly, there were others that...weren't as nice.
At one time, two of the really powerful Digimon were fighting, and they destroyed the city we were all staying at. We moved to another place, but...it wasn't really the same.
We were back there recently, though, and the city was fixed...and none of the powerful Digimon seemed to be around.
It was just...us and our Digimon...

No...no one really knew what was going on. But we did learn that we could start coming and going whenever we wanted, as opposed to being stuck there and only going home occasionally, without any warning...
no subject
(Weird...not many places really do that. Either they send everyone home or they're stuck there forever.
Or at least...are supposed to be stuck there forever.)
...These Digimon sound a lot like Pokemon. And you mentioned having two of them?
no subject
Mm...we all thought it was strange too...
Although...getting to see the friends I had made there made it hard to complain.
Well, the Digimon are creatures that are made out of digital data...um...kind of like information from a machine...
When I first arrived there, I was greeted by a Digimon called Lopmon, a rabbit-looking Digimon. But there was an incident where we learned that the Digimon that we had weren't our "real" partners, and so another Digimon, a flower-like Digimon called Floramon, came and said she was my real partner...

no subject
Oh have they? That's good to know.
I...haven't seen Choco and Sprout anywhere yet...
Those...Those are my Digimon.
