Okay. This was all okay. He was dreaming, clearly. Truth be told, dreaming of a technicolor dreamscape populated by ponies was one of the least troubling of his dreams as of late. John Watson, an off-white Earth pony with a sandy mane wasn't sure what to make of this place yet. It wasn't threaten-

He was too busy staring around to pay any mind to where he was walking. Unfortunately, this meant he didn't see the manhole - ponyhole? - cover sitting to one side before he went half plummeting into the gaping entry.

"Bloody-!" It was going to be one of those sorts of dreams. He was sure there was a metaphor in here his therapist would love to get at if he ever talked to her again.

[Linkara is sulking around in the town. He looks both grumpy and lost like he's new here and not happy about being a pony.]

[He's managed to do it without internet. His show continues, and he'll do it again next week. He's just finished reviewing a bad comic book over the scrolls. How do you react?]

[Linkara is browsing the local comic shop. Every once in a while, he picks up a comic book and skims through it.]

Hey there, Mr. Grumpy Hat!

[Says Pinkie as she cartwheels up to him.]

Long time no see! I brought you a cupcake! And a bad comic to punch! Actually I didn't read the comic, but it says Bloodmayne on the front and I've never heard of HER, so it's probably not all that good!

Seriously? You're a tiny little talking pony in a fairy tale town, and you're criticizing the local comic industry?

Yeah, okay then. So tell me about your feelings on how much the movies messed up the Marvel superheroes.

[A yellow earth pony by the name of Dustin was just browsing near where Linkara was. Since comics are his whole life besides his friends and being a Power Ranger, he loved it wasn't surprising (to anyone who knew him) that Dustin was browsing as well. He looked very interested in the current Power Ponies issue, staring at the cover.]

Hey, dude. That issue any good?

And he would suddenly find himself being pulled back from the hole by a big set of white, hand-like paws... attached to an even bigger white and red dragon.

"Are you alright?" The voice of the dragon is kind and his manner calm, big blue eyes watching John with obvious concern as he sets him back on the ground... away from the open access cover.

You're totally fine!

"Yeah, thanks I..." John trails off when he sets eyes on his rescuer. It shouldn't be too surprising that if he can conjure up ponies, it's only a small leap to dragons, but that is still a very large fire-breathing lizard watching him. As leaving it at 'thanks I' is rude, John blinks a few times before managing to reengage the rest of his vocabulary.

"Hi, thanks! Yes. Perfectly fine. I'm John." Uncertain where to take this next, he adds, "D'you know, it looks like somebody's got a living room set up down there. Haven't got any problems with demon clowns appearing the gutters around here, have you?"

That's not my area of expertise. Some other people can do that. Me? I stick to comic books. I've always done comic books.

[Linkara turns to face whoever's peaking to him.]

[He drops the comic book he was reading and gapes a surprised look at the POWER RANGER.]

[Liz meanwhile walks by, probably on her way to some nondescript place of work, pausing and backtracking a bit - she'd know that hat anywhere. And if you don't mind her taking a subtle glance at your butt the cutie mark is familiar too.]

[Linkara freezes in place, looking over to Iron Liz.]

DUH! I'm Pinkie Pie!

[Aw, is he from a different universe? She hates when that happens!]

You taught me how to do this, remember? [Shoving the comic and cupcake at him, she stands on her hind hooves and:]

I AM A MARE!!!!! [Punch!] I changed the words a little since then! Hope you don't mind!

[Linkara gets the cupcake and comic book shoved into his grasp.]

Um... I think you might be confusing me with some other me.

[He feels as if he should punch Insano. Or Linksano. Or both. If they're here.]

Well, it has to be one of the better reactions that Skyfire has gotten, and he just gives John a small grin. "You're welcome. And it's nice to meet you John. My name is Skyfire."

Skyfire looks a bit perplexed and half stares down into the hole. "Well, I guess I can't say anything about their choice of location since I live in a cave... but that just doesn't seem like a good place to make a place to live. It must get pretty wet when it rains..."

The mention of demon clowns gets an odd look though. "Things have been odd since I arrived here... but I don't think that they've gotten that odd..."

[He's fairly certain he did, a few test drives ago in fact. Yeah, that sounds about right. Well, no use sweating it, he might as well enjoy the lack of Meow while he can. And hey, getting wings out of the deal is pretty sweet. Ladies dig a man with wings.]

Tch, whatever. Someone just point me to where all the chicks are at and we'll be even, baby. Dandy's gotta do something while he's here.

[Get it. Chicks. 'Cause...bird. His genius is lost on you people.]

[Yup, that's him. Excuse her if she's suddenly really excited to see you; it's been a bit of a Year. Also hugging.]

We're still working on that. But at least it's not boring around here in the meantime.

I've reviewed tons of bad Marvel comics. And of course, I have no idea what DC is, either.

[Linkara searches throiugh his pockets. He's gotta see what recorces he's got. Magic gun? Check. DS Tricorder? Check. Sonic Screwdriver? Check. ...That seems to be it.]

...It's not much, but still useful.

[Linkara starts fiddling with the tricorder.]

Well you'll be glad to know that alcohol still exists. And there's at least one evil overlord trying to take over at any given time. But mostly we just play DnD.

Oh, and the fourth wall seems to be a bit thinner around here, so watch your balance.
