THE NIGHTMARE MEME

Congratulations! Whether through trickery, temptation, or plain old possession, your character has been corrupted by an ancient darkness, previously known only to the Princess of the Night. The Nightmare has just begun.

♦ Your character is now a Nightmare! How did they get to this point, and what do they plan to do with their newfound power? Doubtless, power is on their minds...and maybe eternal night wouldn't hurt either? Just a little bit?

♦ Oh no! Your character's friend is now a Nightmare version of themselves! Will you fight back or try to talk them down? You should probably avoid doing what Celestia did - unless you've got a thousand years to spare.

♦ You know what? Friendship IS magic! Being evil would be a lot more fun if your friends were with you - maybe you should try to lure them over to the dark side as well. Hint: try baking some cookies!

♦ Don't forget the aftercare! If you do manage to snap your friend out of Nightmarehood, you had best be on hoof for a whole lot of comforting afterwards. These things are never easy. Ask Luna, if thou hast doubts.

"Sure! Ker Kindnesty would love to have your company!"

The little filly starts leading Harvey over to the castle, rattling out praises for Princess Gaia and all sorts of other fun filly things that young fillies usually talk about.

[Harvey likes kids, really. But he just looks more and more irritated as he follows the filly towards the castle. Luna help him, if he gets this fixed he is NEVER gonna complain about Equestria's G-ratedness ever again.]

Hey, you hating on a happy, carefree child? What are you, a monster?

As Harvey gets closer to the castle, the fog seems to dissipate, disappearing completely as they enter the castle. It looks even more magnificent inside than it did outside. The child eventually leads him to the throne room, where Princess Gaia is sitting at a table finned with food and drink for two, almost as if she was expecting company.

She looks very magnificent as each of her breaths radiates a calm, motherly stature.

"It's so nice of you to come."

[Okay, this is all deeply unnerving. Harvey takes a few steps towards the table, but does not sit.]

Fluttershy, right? You wanna explain any of this? [He waves a hoof to generally indicate everything around them.]
