Seriously, didn't your mother ever teach you not to walk through ominous unmarked doors in ominous catacombs of ominous castles?

Or maybe you've just got a boggart in your cupboard, who knows. Regardless, you are now trapped within your own worst fears. Hopefully someone can go and get you out of them!

Well. Discord is willing to accept the idea that he doesn't really know how magically-induced hallucinations work. It's not like he's ever been on the receiving end.

"Pish-posh. That's enough of that, go bother Tirek or something." Discord stands, his limbs easily working their way right through the chains, and spreads his wings. A few flaps, plus a good full-body shake, gets rid of the demons surrounding him AND the chains, and he hovers back up into the air again. "Is this really what your world is like? Underneath it, at least?"

That may actually be a note of genuine concern in his voice. He's also just turned all the demons into small bunny rabbits. Which actually resemble Angel Bunny, so not a huge difference in hindsight.

Admittedly, it feels as though he's been eternally bound to those chains. It's probably been much shorter than that, but he can't properly say long. Dante's still in his demonic form, slowly catching his breath and feeling his wrist. Those chains did a lot more than hold him back.

"...Something like that. Let's...just say I have a lot of enemies back home."

"Ah, well, who doesn't?" Discord slithers over to peer down at Bertie. He supposes that's meant to be Bertie, though he's entirely sure he isn't meant to bend that way. Or have his skin doing...well, whatever it's about. The draconequus grimaces, looking somehow like a disgusted cat. "These are not pleasant, would you be upset if I just got rid of them?"

Dante merely shakes his head as he looks away from Bertie and the damage those demons have done to him. Hallucination or not, it's something he'd rather not see.

"Do what you want. I don't want to look at this anymore."

"Very well! Shut your eyes~"

Regardless of whether or not Dante complies, in about thirty seconds this place is going to be a disco skaterink. The only nod to the previous scenario is the large skull-shaped disco ball hanging from the ceiling above. Discord straightens it one last time, before hovering back to look at his work.

"Oh, that is lovely." Was he supposed to getting Dante OUT of here or something? Sorry, totally sidetracked.

Dante's not as prepared for this as he'd like to be, given his earlier tortures. It's still a welcome change of scenery, and it perks the dragon up ever so slightly.

It calms him down enough that he drops the Devil Trigger and returns to the familiar dragon form. "...You know, I never took you for the disco type."
