[Glancing around, she does indeed find the scroll on her person - er...pony?

It's only then that she also finds the little guest on her back. And it takes her a moment, after noticing the symbol on her back, to realize what it might]

I-Is...Is that my Zord?

[She doesn't mean to say it out loud, but...was it possible? The folding Zords were alive in their own way, certainly, but...this was an actual turtle.]

The future. Our future---assuming it hasn't been entirely altered by this little detour into whims of fantasy.

[He frowns for a beat, then another...and then he nods.]

But no matter where we go from here, I promise I'll return someday. After all this? No law of physics in this universe will stop me from finding you again.

[He briefly squeezes Marty's shoulders with a lanky leg.]

Now why don't we discuss this over breakfast? Forgive me if I make a bit of a mess this morning, the magic's still brand new.

[Billy's ears perk right up at that word.]

...does that zord grow in size? Say...enough to accommodate a pilot?

[pinksky]

[Only then does she realize her mistake, and she hesitates a bit before finally answering.]

Well...normally it would.

[She's not so sure about now.]

[Fascinating. Billy leans in to study it closely...then pulls back, a little shifty-looking.]

Are you a Ranger too?

[Yeah...he doesn't exactly try to keep a secret, so he hopes a confession will put her at ease.]

['Too'? That has her relaxing even more, though she does seem curious.]

I...well, yes...I am. I'm the Pink Samurai Ranger.]

[triceratrots]

[He thought so. Billy's expression is now quite friendly, and he offers his hoof.]

I'm Billy, Blue Mighty Morphin Ranger. Pleased to meet you! It's been a while since I've met anyone else.

[pinksky]

[She can't help smiling a bit as she meets his hoof with her own. He might not be one of her teammates, but...finding another ranger at all was still comforting.]

I'm Mia Watanabe. It's nice to meet you, Billy.

(This particular Trixie Lulamoon sprinkles some ground red pepper on a green apple and takes a bite, her eyes never straying too far from this newest iteration of her sometimes rival.)

May I ask you some questions, starting with 'what do you remember about me in particular and Ponyville in general?'

[Darn, Marty forgot that there's a chance of this whole thing affecting the future.. er, past, in some way. Oh well, no point in worrying now when there's nothing they can do.]

I can help, I mean Arcee did help me learn how to cook.

[Marty all you know how to make is cake. That is not appropriate breakfast food.]

Excellent! Cooking isn't as much like chemistry as I was led to believe...I'm better than before, but I may still burn something on occasion.

[At last...as weird as everything is around here, it'll be all right so long as Marty's here. He just has a lot of lost time to make up for.]

[Billy sighs.]

As far as I know, we're the only Rangers here. There were others, but they've gone. But there are other superheroes with powers somewhat like ours, so we're not entirely alone.

I should probably tell you that my identity isn't a secret.

[He looks embarrassed by this.]

Really?

[She can't help sounding a bit disappointed. So she was all alone? The others hadn't come either?]

But...where are we? And why are we...?

[She indicates herself with a hoof.]

[Billy takes in a deep breath.]

This is Equestria, a land of magic. It's ruled by the pony princesses, but all creatures live together in harmony. At least that's how it's supposed to be.

A long time ago, there was a wizard here who held enchanted portals to other worlds. A dark pony seeking to absorb everything found these mirrors and gathered us. At the moment, we're trying to reach her and get her to release what she's already absorbed.

At least that's my best hypothesis. I don't have all the answers.

[pinksky]

[For the most part she takes it well, as she listens to Billy's explanation.]

I see...

[And she thought Master Xandred was a problem.]

And coming here...changed us?

1: "Well, this is certainly new."

Rarity - or rather, a Rarity in full robes of blue, white, and silver - pushes an elaborate white and silver cowled shawl out of her eyes, and that's how she discovers that she has a horn in this form.

"My word!" she says, jumping to her hooves. Which she then examines carefully, frowing. "Well, it wouldn't be the first time I'm not quite myself, but I'd expect CLOVEN hooves if I've the horn and everything else," she says - mostly to herself. "I wonder if -"

She nods her head, closes her eyes and concentrates; her reward is a soft glow around a crystal ball. "Interesting!" she says. "Well, this has been fun, but I rather think I prefer myself with handier appendages."

She casts a spell with a few words of a language that crackles at the back of the throat. Those who are mages will recognize the spell as Dispel Magic. Those from Earth or somewhere like it will recognize the language as Farsi - and those from Equestria, as Saddle Arabian.

It does nothing. She blinks and repeats the spell on herself.

THEN she swears a litany ending in the words "Diskhord! Ibn kalb!"

Karima Almez - for that is her name - is practicing spellweaving, and a song is spilling out from her heart through her lips to her work. The tune is Art of the Dress, though the lyrics differ slightly; they're in Farsi, for one, and for another it's part of a series of incantations for glamours of strength, swiftness, protection and beauty.

She may also be testing the limits of her telekinesis, with the constellation of needles and scissors she's manipulating to do this.

And having a sale on silk dresses. She's been at this for awhile.

Karima's work is done, and she's discovered two things. One, she managed to acquire a LOT of gold in her adventures against the Witch of Aeternal Night, which the Bank of Canterlot is all too happy to take at GENEROUS rates.

Second: That there's a spa in town that's equal to what was, quite literally, the royal treatment back home. How could she NOT go?

Which is why she's currently face-down in a cushion while Aloe rubs her namesake into her anching joints. A noise escapes her lips that turns from a sigh to a whinny to a giggle.

This may actually be the first time you've seen her willingly naked, come to that.

Normally Naotsugu wasn't one for the spa, but he was getting a little worn and weary recently. Recent trips to the hot spring had done only so much, but without his usual set of income, ie slaying monsters, he had been forced to get a job.

The lack of panties slightly frustrated him, but it was good money and Aloe and Lotus were easy on the eyes, if not quite in the same reach of Maryelle. As he walked in for work, Aloe gestured him over. "I need you to take over," she whispered.

"Leave it to me!" Exclaimed Naotsugu as he took over, smoothing aloe into his hooves and beginning to work. "Naotsugu's patented massages coming up!"

Wait what.

Karima immediately tenses. She turns her eyes to Aloe and manages to ask, with her eyes, 'is this guy supposed to be here?'

When Aloe gives a nod and gestures him over, she rolls her eyes. "Adventuring type, I take it?"

"You RAAAAAAAAAAANG?" Discord asks, appearing out of literally nowhere to loom over her.

"Yeah actually. I'm Naotsugu, a Guardian. It's nice to meet you."

Rolling up the sleeves of his work outfit, he added, "Don't worry, I've given plenty of massages before. I promise you I'll be the most professional."

Besides, she didn't even wear panties from what he figured. How most likely wrong he was.

She's not quite as good at the Stare as her ally from the White Woods is, but her glare is hard as adamant.

"Return me to my true form immediately, Father of Chaos. Or Appolyta WILL hear of this. If that doesn't frighten you, then know that KINDNESS will hear of this."

[discorderly]

"Mmmmmm..." Discord tugs at his beard for a moment. "No. Have we met?" He doesn't recall Lucia mentioning having known her world's him personally or anything; honestly, he's kinda disappointed that she didn't scream and run.

It's hysterical when they scream and run.

Rarity - or whatever she calls herself, gives Discord a hard, appraising look.

"I seem to recall you causing quite a bit of trouble for us. Hedge maze? Ringing any bells? I suppose that for THEE that was just Stormsday."

Whelp, Early Modern. Either she's one of Lucia's or she went to charm school with Luna. Funny thing is, Lucia hadn't met her world's Discord personally last time you spoke. Of course, she hadn't faced her Nightmare Moon, either.

"If Aloe trusts you I will, dear." She does her best to settle down. There is always the towel.

"With a name like that you must be a recent arrival," she says. "The locals tend to prefer names a little bit more on the nose."

[discorderly]

"That certainly wasn't YOU," Discord huffs, sitting back into the air. "And frankly, I'm a little disappointed that your me looks JUST like me-me! I was HOPING for something a little more varied." Actually, he just wanted to steal the looks of all the hims to transform himself into a massive Discord chimera, but you know, details.
