For a year I believed that due to my own shortcomings, I was responsible for my best friend being wiped from existence, and that I failed to save him when I and a group of friends went up against the megalomaniac that wiped him from existence in the first place.

And... because of that, I began pushing my friends away until someone else smacked sense into me.
