Miles "Tails" Prower/DDD!Tails | Sonic the Hedgehog

It happened again. Tails found himself back in his real body though this time he made the mistake of resting on a cloud and fell. Luckily he was able to catch himself but his evoker has turned into a gun.

So now he's trying to figure out how to make the evoker work since he never witnessed Minato using it last year.

Anyone want to disturb one of the two-tailed foxes in Equestria?

On the other hand, Minato's no stranger to Evokers, but seeing one in the hands of someone not from SEES makes him hesitate a little. At least up until the point he realizes who it is. The tails were a bit of a giveaway.

But more importantly, he should probably intervene before something goes wrong here.

"...You sure you want to use that as it is?"

He's not surprised by Minato's appearance since he remembers last time. "Hey Minato," he looks at his evoker. "Well I don't usually use guns but if my persona's needed, I might need to know how to use it."

Not that he expects to use it unless there's another fighting contest.

"If you insist..."

Instead of warning Tails further, Minato draws his own Evoker with a spin and presses it against the side of his head. He doesn't pull the trigger just yet, though.

"Summoning a Persona with an Evoker means opening yourself up to your mortality. The creators loved their symbolism."

His eyes widen in shock and he could feel his blood run cold.

"S-so that's what you meant before when you trained me and Trixie."

Wow he's suddenly missing the collar right about now. He takes a deep breathe to calm himself down.

"In that case, I can do it. It shouldn't be much different than before."

He raises his own evoker to the side of his head. He tries to pull the trigger but his body hesitates. Might take him a moment to do it.

About the reaction he expected, honestly.

"You should already know how it feels. Don't push yourself, though."

He nods and calms himself down. After a moment or two, he manages to pull the trigger. Despite it being slightly different, it does feel familiar to him as glass shattering can be heard and Aquila appears.

Other than being slightly bigger, there's no real changes in the persona's appearance.

Minato gives a small nod. Least he could still do it. One problem, though.

"...Maybe you shouldn't summon in the middle of town."

He nods his head towards a few (understandably) terrified ponies nearby.

Tails turns his head and notices the terrified ponies. Granted it wasn't the first time he's summoned his persona in town, but it was for a short time and to deliver a message to his double.

"Oh right."

Aquila disappears from view as he puts him away.

Now was the issue of carrying around his evoker since he doesn't have a holster of his own. It wouldn't be a good idea to just carry around a gun in his hand all day.
