[He rocks on back, pulling what he thinks is a cool and aloof pose.]

I know that's not a bad thing?

[She giggles at that confident pose. She could expect nothing less from him.]

You still look just as cool as you do as a pony!

[Did she really just say that out loud? She suddenly blushes.]

[He was...surprisingly insecure about that after getting a look at the human guys from more ordinary worlds, so his wide grin's partially one of relief.]

Glad I can count on you. And...man am I glad to be on two legs again.

[He grins and stretches---and is still not very tall, but he tried.]

[His eyes almost...sparkle. Yeah.]

We're totally having a barbecue. Uh...if we can find any meat that the Equestrians won't have our heads for eating.

Well, we could always go hunting.

And then we're having a barbecue. Man, it's been way too long since I've been able to say that.

A barbecue sounds so good. You want to walk with me to my house to get proper hunting supplies?

[Aaand he's jogging right over, still re-adjusting to his old legs. He's still not the fastest or the strongest, but at the moment? He's ready for anything.

And he's kinda excited to see what she can do.]

Well... I like to think I am. I had to learn to at an early age.

I'm more of a fishersman, but I can handle a bit of hunting. I'll just...follow your lead.

[Yeah, he'd love to spin a tale about all those sweet bear hunts, but he can't bring himself to do it to her.]

[Yeah, because fishermen wear wrestler masks.]

Tag team wrestler. Then I had an advice column of sorts---wasn't much, but it paid the bills.

[Well, it's mostly the truth. He's all trying to gear up for hunting now---man, these horsie vests fit all weird.]

I see. [She knows what a wrestler is. Just no idea what an advice column was, or even what bills are.]

An advice column? Mind explaining to me what that is?

Basically somebody writes me a letter, and I give my expert advice. Like they'll say...

'Dear Strong Bad: How do you hunt all the best game? Sincerely, Butterfingers.'

And I'll say: 'Well, Butterfingers, to catch your prey, you've gotta follow the three S-es. Silence, stalking, and sharpshooting.' And then I usually go out and show 'em how to do it.

[Because he's totally the best at giving advice, totally.]

Huh. Well, you'll make a good hunting partner, then.

[Really? Because he just made that up---okay, he'll roll with it. He nods decisively.]

Then let's get to it. Cutlets, burgers...oh, I can almost taste it already.

[But he's keeping himself calm and quiet, he swears.]

"Right behind you," he offered, bowing low and pointing a hoof out in front of him to let her pass. Ah, they'd be eating good tonight.
