[If Coco is wandering around town, there's a unicorn she might notice with a long red mane and familiar attire.

Though the spear and shield strapped to her back might be more recognizable.]

[Oh hey yeah it's who's-her-face. The famous first-year chick. One of the like two whose name she figures she should probably get around to learning. Her and the twelve-or-whatever-year-old with the scythe.

So she just sort of. walks alongside her, matching her pace.]

Hey.

[You might recognize her sunglasses and hat, at least? Coco is used to jut sort of assuming people know her.]

[Her ears twitch when she first hears someone stepping beside her, but she doesn't think much of it. It's hard not to be alert though, used to being prepared in case something happens.

The greeting is what finally gets her attention, and as she looks over she blinks.]

Hello.

[Yes, the hat and sunglasses are very familiar, even if she can't quite place her name at the moment.]

You're, uh...

[She'd snap her fingers if she still had them while she tries to figure it out. She really should know this girl's name.]

Cereal boxes. First year. Right?

[You'll have to forgive her, she's a little preoccupied with the "suddenly being a horse" thing.]

[aura_spear]

[A small smile.] Yes, that's me. Pyrrha Nikos. ...You're Coco, right? The leader of Team CFVY? [She knew Velvet a little better than she did Coco, but it was hard not to know about their team.]

[chanelyouranger]

That's me. In the brand-new horsey flesh.

[She looks around]

Anyone else from Beacon here?

[Anyone from her team, maybe? She didn't see them on the comm device but she can hope.]

Only a few of us at the moment. Besides us, there's Jaune, Ruby, and Yang.

Four first-years. Well, that's four more vaguely familiar people than I could have ended up with.

How long have you all been here?

[aura_spear]

It is better than nothing. There is a chance more of your team could arrive sometime. A couple of months, though we all arrived at varying times. Jaune is the one who's been here the longest, and the first from out world to have come.

[chanelyouranger]

Oh believe me, I'm not complaining. And since you aren't all gone back home I'm going to assume I don't have to worry about my team missing me.

[The last thing she wants is for her team to be leaderless while she's off having pony adventures. Especially Velvet.]

Anything in particular I should know about Horseworld?

[aura_spear]

That's correct. When we're brought here, time back home is temporarily stopped until we are returned, at the exact time we left. Others can be brought here at different points of time, which is why it doesn't seem like they've been missing. Well, other than the basics, this world deals a lot with magic. A powerful kind of magic is how we were brought here in the first place, and transformed into ponies.

[chanelyouranger]

Magic. So we're magic horses. Great.

[aura_spear]

Well...mostly. Alicorns and unicorns are the only ones that can use magic actively, but pegasi and Earth ponies, like yourself, harness it in different ways.

[chanelyouranger]

[Coco blinks. She's never really been into fantastical creatures she can't blow up, sorry.]

Those... sure were some words. Can you, uh. Remind me what those things are, exactly?

[Oh good the horses are all huge nerds too.]

[aura_spear]

Certainly. Unicorns are the ponies with horns. [She motions to her own.] Pegasi are ponies with wings that can fly. Earth ponies are...well, what you are. And alicorns are a combination of all three types of those ponies. They have a unicorn's horn and magic, a pegasus' wings and flight, and an Earth pony's strength. The alicorns here make up the royalty of this world.

[chanelyouranger]

[She frowns.]

So I get dragged into another world, turned into a horse, and I don't even get to fly or have a magic horn. Or both, but... that sounds like a political bag of worms I don't want to touch... Or would that be a bag of oats?

[aura_spear]

Bag of oats would probably be a safer bet. Still, I wouldn't discount the Earth pony. They are known to be closest to nature, and are known to have a tremendous amount of strength.

[chanelyouranger]

Huh. Well, I'll give it a shot. Don't exactly have much of a choice.

[A pause.]

I... don't have to wear a saddle or anything, do I?

[aura_spear]

Not unless you would like to. Truth be told, though, I haven't seen any saddles really.

[chanelyouranger]

That's a relief. I can just focus on getting... regular horse clothes, I guess.

[aura_spear]

A lot of the clothes here are actually very fashionable. In fact, I know of a boutique that has quite a selection you might like to see.
