Jeeves was perturbed. Not only had he vanished from Mr Wooster's Brinkley Court flat in the middle of preparing his patented hangover cure, but he seemed to be stranded in an unfamiliar town of pastel colored ponies. Not only that, but it seemed he was a pony himself!

"Most peculiar," he mused under his breath.

Gloria had not had a particularly good day. Or week. Or really month. The addition of being transported to some strange world of colorful... things when she was in the middle of trying to win a war had done little to improve her mood.

The maroon mare blinked several times at the new surroundings she'd just woken to when her eyes locked in on one of the creatures that looked officious enough. She started toward him when she realized she was on all fours and that her hook had been replaced by a pegleg and that she was no longer a stoat.

"By the Voss and all the Quorum! You!" She jabs her pegleg at the black and white creature. "Where are we? What sort of Southie trick is this?"

[There's an angry stallion in the field outside Ponyville. Despite not used to being on all fours and having hooves, he's certainly hasn't been standing still as evidenced by the destruction around him. Unusually deep hoof prints, a tree having been bucked so hard it snapped in half, grass pulled from the ground.

He's not taken to suddenly being a, super strong, pony very well. At all.

Perhaps a familiar or a new face could calm him down (or make it worse).]

Jeeves gives the peglegged mare a dismissive look. "Madame," he replies in cool, measured tones. "I'm afraid I do not have the faintest idea what you're talking about."

Dan was in a terrible mood. This was typical. What wasn't typical was the four legs, mane, and general equine nature.

"Who do I have to gut to turn back to normal and get the hell out of here?!"

He appeared to be taking it about as well as expected.

A pink mare standing nearby leaned in close to him, tilting her head. "I'm not peculiar! I'm Pinkie Pie!" she chimed in, beaming in a way that made it unclear whether or not she was joking. "Hey, did you just get here? Here!"

Out of nowhere, she whipped a delightfully-covered pastry, holding it out in one hoof. "It's a Welcome To Ponyville Cupcake! I made it myself!"

...my, that is an odd-looking little filly posing dramatically on top of City Hall.

"TREMBLE IN FEAR, BRIEF MORTALS! THE FINAL BOSS HAS DESCENDED UPON YOUR WORLD!"

And just give her a second to have a little coughing fit, because Final Boss Voice hurts her throat something awful.

Vinyl, conversely, was having a pretty good time. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and just a couple days ago she'd been shunted into an alternate dimension. Granted, for her the shift hadn't been as extreme as it was for some of the others, but it still had its downsides. Namely having to sleep in a shallow ditch outside of town, but even that was starting to seem like a benefit in itself.

So, seeing as she was in such a helpful and generous mood, she decided that maybe it was time she showed some newcomers the ropes, get 'em acclimated to how things worked around here. And just her luck, there happened to be a very confused, very irritable pony standing right there out in the open.

"Hey hey there, buddy." She said, cautiously approaching the stranger. Well, for a certain value of cautious. This guy didn't seem like a big deal. He had a soul patch, for cryin' out loud. Nopony with a soul patch deserved to be taken seriously. "Wanna relax a bit there? Take a chill pill? You're startin' to freak people out."

Trixie can only huff in annoyance.

"...Trixie was unaware that Zetta had a daughter."

"This does nae look like Croydon." The newly minted unicorn is more than a little surprised to find himself suddenly on all fours. ""I've go' a job to be doing tonight, I do nae have time for thes -- I have nae even put the quinoa on yet."

Gloria's incredibly tempted to whack the look right off his face. She gets enough of that sort of thing from her husband. Lashing out hasn't proven terribly effective for her in recent days, though. She tries to calm herself and measure her tone, as well.

"It's Captain Ruston of the Stoatorian Guard, if you'll be addressing by titles, laddie buck," she says, lifting her chin. "If you can't say where we are, then best tell me what you are. I've never seen a beastie of your ilk."

Coughing fit done, Desco stares down at the unicorn from atop her perch before very deliberately jumping off the roof. She lands with a thump, the impact cratering the ground under her hooves.

Style is important, after all.

"Desco is not related to Overlord Zetta! Why would you think that?"

[Make that TWO angry stallions, one of which had just stomped up in a froth of flaming hair and splattering mana power.]

Quit wrecking the place up! I'M the villain here, that means I have jurisdiction over gratuitous acts of violence and vandalism!

[Jappleack has no clue how the hell she got back here.

Truth be told she isn't exactly complaining about being in Equestria Prime again. At least, she's pretty sure it's Equestria Prime. It looks like Equestria Prime. It smells like Equestria Prime. Nothing is on fire and no one is running for their lives from somepony else so it at least isn't her Equestria anymore. And for a time she had thought about wanting to stay in Equestria Prime forever the last time she was here.

But that time had passed and along with all the other ways Jappleack had grown the last time she'd been here, she'd realized she had belonged back in her own world. And she no longer had any business here, which adds to her confusion and growing annoyance. She didn't get her through the void; in fact she was no longer sure she could move through the void if she wanted to. So what the hell had pulled her here this time?

Her immediate reaction was to try and find Twilight and Applejack, considering they were the ponies she'd spoken with and stayed with the last time she was here. She hadn't, in fact, gone about town much the last time; considering all that was going on, Twilight had thought it a better idea to hide her at the moment to avoid the confusion her presence would inevitably bring. Really, finding them right now to avoid more confusion would probably be the best thing to do.

But then again, going against what she was supposed to do was an old habit for Jappleack, and she soon found herself wandering around Ponyville. She switches between walking on all fours to sometimes moving to walking on her hind legs with ease, glancing around at the town as she passes and watching the other ponies laugh and talk and sing with each other as they go about their normal, happy days.]

Jesus. It's like walking through Candy Land's obese, diabetic brother.

[And occasionally she just walks over to a pony at random. Possibly you.]

You know what the fuck is going on here? Because this shit is kind of annoying.

Now, Dan had discovered a while back that these were talking ponies. Made sense. He could talk, why shouldn't they? And they could definitely understand him, considering the reactions to his long string of profanities.

So he was all too happy to glare at what appeared to be a stupid "punk" pony.

Dan hated punk.

"Don't tell me what to do! I'll freak out as many people as I want!"

A crater. In the ground. Celestia save Ponyville. This is exactly like Zetta.

"Trixie deems it to be the whole "Fear me, I'm an evil overlord" thing. What are you going to do that's so evil? Are you going to try and outdo Zetta and build an orphanage?"

[tyrantball]

The filly grins, showing off her shark-like teeth.

"Desco isn't an Overlord, Desco is the Final Boss!"

The two largest of her many tentacles split open to reveal that they are actually mouths, describing an elaborate arc before audibly snapping shut.

"Therefore, Desco will slay the greatest hero of this land and plunge it into eternal despair, sending out her army of darkness as she broods and cackles from her ebon throne of skulls!"

She grins happily, her eyes sparkling.

"And then, a lone orphan raised in secrecy, according to the prophecy, will show up, and Desco will have an epic battle with the legendary hero! And when the hero lays defeated at Desco's iron..."

A quick pause to look down at her legs before she continues.

"...hooves, this world will belong solely to the Final Boss! And then Desco will put everyone to work in the chocolate mines!"

Trixie blinks. And then stares flatly.

"...You're even more insane than he is. Trixie needs a drink."

She begins walking past the crazy pony, clearly not in the mood for any moe of these shenanigans.

And she is just skipping after you.

"So you know Overlord Zetta too? Desco is friends with his daughter!"

Oh great, she's following Trixie.

"'Tis unfortunate, but Trixie must admit such a thing to be true. She wishes it wasn't."

"And I ain't stoppin' ya. Gotta let your freak flag fly and all that. Just tone it down a little is all I'm askin'." Granted, Vinyl asking anybody to tone it down smacked of hypocrisy, but she neither recognized it nor cared. Also she assumed hypocrisy was some kind of sauce, so that was also something of a factor.

"I get where you're comin' from here, man. I really do. Just got here, you're all confused, don't know what to do with yourself, that's understandable." Understandable in that it summed up Vinyl's average day pretty succinctly. "But just shoutin' at everypony's not gonna solve anything, is it?"

Desco floats alongside Trixie for a few seconds, staring silently before coming to a conclusion.

"Oh! Desco recognizes that tone of voice! Regret, and disdain, and impatience...you must be dating Zetta!"

With that, she lands and begins bouncing around Trixie in a circle.

"Ah! In that case, Desco will make sure not to kill you, okay? She doesn't want to prevent Petta from being born!"

Trixie whips her head around to the pony following her.

"WHAT!? No! No, no, no, no, no! I'm not that stupid!"

[tyrantball]

Desco sits down and allows the eyes set on her ribcage to stare at Trixie.

"Oh, is he in one of his moods again? Don't worry! He's a tsundere, so he'll be over it soon!"

There's a slight pause as several of Desco's golden eyes blink, nictitating membranes closing shut over them.

"All this romantic advice is making Desco hungry. Can you give her some candy?"
