[Bewilderment shot through Shining Armor, followed by confusion and a tilting of his head.] Time I kind of sort of get but uh...

Yeah, Princess Cadance, my ponyfriend? We've been dating for about a month now -- wait, who are you that you know my little sister? She's just a filly.

Oh, we're good friends...or something. [He doubts friendship generally involves kissing, but he's been a bit too stressed of late to really care much about figuring out any new definitions for what's occurring now.] She's not that young. I'd say roughly as old as I appear to be.

[He briefly considers mentioning the second one, but decides to maybe save that one for a bit later.]

... wait what? That can't be right. Twiley's a filly, like about this high and comes up to my barrel and wait... how DO you know her? You said you're good friends but she doesn't have many good friends.

[You're going to get that big brother look Pollo.]

We're neighbors.

[Clearly this is upsetting Shining Armor more than Pollo thinks it should, for some reason. What's wrong with Twilight having friends?]

You're willing to accept that you've traveled to an alternate dimension, but you don't believe that I know Twilight? It isn't as though she's the same one from your universe.

I'm just a little protective of Twilight. Being her big brother and all, and she's just a ten year old filly last I checked.

[Relenting a little, he sighed.] Look, I just didn't mean to get up in your feed bag or anything, I just want to make sure Twilight's not running around with older stallions that I don't know about. She's a little kid and I'd be a bad brother if I didn't care about her.

Even if she is different in this place, I'm still her BBBFF.

I never had any siblings, but I can understand the sentiment. You should go see her, I think she'd be happy for a visit.

...well, both of them would. There's two iterations of her here, the one local to this dimension and one who came here like us. I don't know the first one very well, though.

Two Twilights? I might need to sit down for this one. [And he did, rubbing his head with a hoof.] There's so much I need to figure out here.

Oh, no. I never asked their exact ages, but they're both young adults.

Oh good. That takes a load off my min--what. They're older than me now? That... hayseed, they're older than I am...

Oh. Yes. I imagine that's going to be strange...

[Technically he supposes his Twilight isn't that old, but he doesn't mention it. That's a sensitive subject and really not his to broach.]

I am so not ready to be the younger sibling. [And Shiny rubs his forehead, shaking his head with a sigh.]
