Yeah, Lil' Pip, stop rummaging through Lucia's Magic Shop. A lot of those things are enchanted and quite possibly dangerous. Some of the wands may even read as weapons; the gemstones track.

[As she says that... colorful phrase of words, she jumps up a luttle out of surprise and fumbles with the object she was looking over before setting it back where it was.]

[The breaking gem releases a flash of fire - which is entirely contained by the glowing purple Star Shield.]

...and may I add that it's passing unlikely she would be inclined to do so?

[Pip takes a second to check up on some strange device attached to her front leg. After a few seconds of fiddling with it, she frowns a little more. She really should have checked her PipBuck first.]

No, there's lots of different kinds of magic. But the last time I saw Ponyville, it was abandoned... except for Raiders and bandits.

[Pip's attention then drifts back to the items in Lucia's shop.]

...most of it is simple hedge magic. Shirts that can shift between patterns, colors and slogans. Waterproofed hats. Earrings that allow one to comprehend a language, and tongue studs to speak them.

Then there are the rings of force and the wands of fire. You've seen the latter in action.
