[Her ears twitch a bit at the sound of her name, and the familiar voice that spoke it. And, despite the form of a pony with wings, seeing him just confirmed her suspicions.]

...Ren?

[Seeing her here was good news and bad news. He wasn't the only one here, but what did that mean back at Beacon? Was JNPR now down two members?]

[Worry about that later. Gotta figure out what's happened, first.]

You're here, too? What's going on?

[She was just as glad to see him as well, and while she's not at Nora levels of hugging, she does smile broadly.]

Yes...It's good to see you, Ren.

[His other question has her hesitating a moment.]

I am...not quite sure myself, to be honest. From I've been told, there has been a frequent problem of people being taken from their homeworlds and brought here.

Oh.

[That doesn't answer much. Better than nothing, at least.]

And the turning into horses thing?

[aura_spear]

[She nodded.] Apparently, the majority of this world's natives are a form of pony. You and I have been transformed into one type each - a pegasus and a unicorn - but there's another type, the Earth pony.

Any offworlders that are brought here are presumably transformed to better fit in.

...Great.

[How is he going to use Stormflower like this? Ren sighs, already tired of the situation.]

Is there a way out? We need to get back to Beacon.

From the ponies I've spoken with, there doesn't seem to be any way out freely. There are times when someone will be sent back to their world, but it seems random...plus there is a chance that they could still return here.

So we're stuck in this place for now.

[He is not looking forward to explaining this to Ozpin when they finally do get back.]

What do you suggest we do in the meantime? I don't want to just sit here.

Well...on the bright side, our disappearances won't quite be noticed. At least from what I've been told.

Currently, Jaune, Yang, Ruby and I have been working on getting used to these forms so we can continue our training. You're of course welcome to join us.

At least we've got some friendly faces here.

[Nora's not among them, but he'll make do.]

I'd be glad to. Beats doing nothing.

[She smiled.] Yes. It's not quite the full group...but it is better than nothing.

Great. Let me take you to the campsite so we can plan with the others.

[Ren nods.] Lead the way, then.

[He can do his own investigation later. Now, just knowing he's not alone is enough. That, and he is looking forward to seeing how ridiculous Jaune looks as a pony.]

[She smiles, and with a gesture of her hoof for him to follow the two head off.]

So...have you gotten a chance to see much of the town yet?

[madeamanoutofme]

[He takes pace next to her.]

Not really. I only woke up here five minutes ago.

[aura_spear]

Oh, I see. We'll have to show you around, then. I'm still getting used to the town myself, but I'm sure Jaune would be able to show us around. From what I've heard, he's been here the longest.

[madeamanoutofme]

The longest? But I was with all of you just before this happened.

[He pauses to think.]

Were we all brought here at different times?

[aura_spear]

[She nods, her expression turning a bit more somber.]

Whatever has brought us here...it seems to be able to also bring us from different points of time.

It was explained to me that, upon leaving our world, time is stopped for us...and when we return, we are brought back to the point when we left. Even if we are in his world for weeks...months...when we go back, no time will have passed.

[madeamanoutofme]

Really?

[Suddenly this place got a lot more tolerable.]

Saves us a lot of worry. We can take our time finding a way out.

[Leave it to Ren to find a way to be cool about it.]

[aura_spear]

[She nodded.] Right. Although that also means that those who were here have been separated from the others for far longer than we would have initially thought.

[She's talking about Jaune, of course.]

I see. Guess I got lucky.

You were saying people are being pulled from other worlds, too? How many are we talking? Are all these other horses somepon- [Ren stops, surprised by what he just said.] -ahem. someone that's been pulled?

[aura_spear]

That's what I've been told, yes. There could be hundreds of worlds...and while some of these ponies are indeed native to this world, I believe that a majority of them are not.

[madeamanoutofme]

...I'm not filing the report on this job once we return.

[That's all he can think of to say, really. Deadpan humor makes everything better.]

[That does get a bit of a laugh from her.] Well, Jaune is our team leader anyway. And since he's been here longer, it would make more sense for him to do it.

[Though, Jaune filing the report comes with its own problems. He'll worry about that when the time comes.]

So, what's this place like?

From what I've seen so far, it's...rather peaceful. Besides the obvious problem of others being pulled here from different worlds, it's rather quiet. And there aren't any monsters like the Grimm here.
