[Sigh. She didn't want to make a post to the network, but someone twisted her arm-- er, hoof-- whatever, and she's got to say something.]

... Hi. [Loooong pause.] I'm Blake. [Pause. Damn it Yang why did you make her do this. You know what, let's ask a simple question and get it over with.] Anyone know where the library is? I want to... look at the books they have there.

[And it cuts out right there. Short, simple, and to the point.]

If anyone happened to be near a particular clearing, they might hear a noise. A lot of noises. Like swiping noises and small grunts. Upon getting closer, they might see a weapon similar to a katana split itself and extended like a chain, whipping around and slashing the air. The small weight at the end is being held in the mouth of a white pony with black hair. The speed is pretty moderate; she's still getting the hang of it and affected by the power halving and all that. Eventually she lets go and sends it into the air, where the horn on her head glows and she attempts to levitate the chain and whip it around - unfortunately, due to her lack of experience, this fails completely and she dodged backwards as it landed into the ground. She kicked the ground in agitation and sat down, wore out from all of that.

"Hey that is pretty cool!" Exclaimed Pinkie, balancing on what appeared to be a replica of Nora's hammer. She was standing on one hoof, watching the unicorn practice with a easy grin on her face.

"That's a neat weapon too."

[the_stray]

The voice takes her off guard; she jumps up and turns towards Pinkie. Was that... it looked like that noisy girl's hammer. How was she even balancing like that? (Then again, Nora was able to easily balance on it as well...) She didn't really feel like socializing, especially after that failed attempt to levitate her weapon, but... there wasn't anyone else around and no book to bury herself into. Sigh.

"Thanks." She paused for a bit, before sighing again. She saw everything, didn't she? "Doing this in this form isn't easy." That's for sure.

[usedpartycannon]

"Nope, de dope, it's pretty simple actually! Just think of it like another hand!" And she flipped down, landing as Pinkie stowed the hammer replica in her hair. "Just give it a try thinking about it and not thinking about it!"

Like another hand? You're telling this to someone who's trained with her weapons for a long time as a human. It isn't that simple... is it?

... Not to mention her choice of phrase is confusing as hell. "What about this?" She points to her horn with one of her hooves.

"That's what telekinesis is! It's basically just grabbing things with another hand. Give it a go!" Pinkie loves this sort of thing, watching new unicorns try out their telekinetic grip.

"Not bad, partner."

Says her teammate who'd followed the noise here with a pretty good idea of what she was going to find at the end of it. She's completely sincere too, the smile on her face cheerful, not sarcastic. Yang had been brought here with an earth pony body after all, which suited her just fine, but it meant she could only really admire the unicorn magics of her friends.

She huffs just a little bit. "'Not bad'? It could be a lot better." Even she could tell that her ability to use her weapon was lessened and not just because of the form she was in. That, and she was still fairly feeble at using the telekinesis magic. It was pretty frustrating. She wasn't giving up, but the agitation hit her pretty hard after a few failed attempts at telekinesis.

Yang trots over to sit beside her, smiling cheeringly.

"And it will. It'll just take a little time. Even Pyrrha had to start from scratch with the magic stuff."

[the_stray]

They don't have that kind of time. But she knows she can't say that; they've already had this discussion before. She honestly has no choice but to accept that.

"It's bad enough this place cuts our ability to fight in half." Worse that on top of that she has new powers she can't control yet.

[nailed_it]

She laughs a little, but it's not to make light of Blake's concerns. It's purely at the notion. It's like Ruby's "negative friend" sentiment.

"You can't cut abilities in half. Skills are limitless. This place just put a couple of hurdles in front of 'em that we have to figure out how to jump over."

She sends Blake a reassuring smile.

"Luckily, we're horses now so that shouldn't be too hard."

Because equestrian humor in Equestria, might as well.
