"I-it was... I-I don't want to remember that place anymore..." She closes her eyes and tries her hardest to stop the shuddering, to break her thoughts away from Mayfield. "I-I wish I could m-make it stop..."

She gently scoops up the bunny, hugging her as she tries to calm her down. "The best way to forget...is to make happier memories to replace the bad ones..."

She could have told Fluttershy just what they had done - but she didn't want to remember. And she didn't want to burden her with any more of what Mayfield was like. She latched onto Fluttershy and tried her hardest not to cry. She sniffled a time or two, but she wasn't going to cry. Not now. Not yet. Even though she was shedding a few tears already...

"Y-You're right... th-that's what I should do... Th-this looks like a h-happy place..." Full of color, of flowers, of friendly-looking ponies and animals. Not a dull, plain-looking city with droned people boring holes into your head with their stares...everyone here was smiling, and she should be too.

She finally let go, opened her eyes, and wiped the tears away. And she smiled. "O-Okay! Th-that's what I'll do, then. Make happier memories h-here..."

Looking at the rabbit, she smiled, helping to wipe away remaining tears. "Mm...and it helps...having a friend.

"If...you'd like, that is..."

A beat passed, but her smile didn't falter one bit. "Y-Yes, I'd love that! Let's be friends, Ms. Fluttershy!"

[strengthinkindness]

Fluttershy nodded. "Mm...!"

Placing her down, she then gestured with a wing. "How about I show you around?"

She nodded, getting a bit excited. "That's very kind of you. That'd be great, thank you very much!"

With another smile, she gestured ahead of them before heading off, making sure the small bunny could keep up.
