He demonstrates the position to give her an idea of what he's talking about.

It felt like her joints were popping as she attempts to extend them again, wings wobbling, but holding flat. Glide, glide...! Her wings twitch, but she holds.

No one had mentioned that before. Still, she turns it slightly and finds herself listing to the right.

He tucks his wings in to land first, looknig back up into the air to make sure she lands properly.

Wings flapping a few more times, they soon tuck against her back. "I really should have taken some... pony's help, or at least, ask for a spotter."

"Huh. Usually I'm good at finding newcomers. But sure, I can help."

Taking a second, she feels a shiver and her fur stands up as she shakes it out. After this was over, she was going to want fire and hot tea. "So, I can get off the ground... what else do I need to know?"

"Most of it you'll learn just by doing and watching others, but for now, just keep your eyes open, and don't go too high until you're ready. Might also be a good idea to keep bandages on hoof, just in case."

She pauses for a moment, staring blankly at him. "... Dare I ask what happened while you were learning to fly?"
