He let that ramble trail off, and looked sheepish for a moment, pawing the ground with a hoof.
"Although I suppose if she was still a person, that'd be rather shocking to the ponies here, wouldn't it?" Even Alistair realized that if you'd once been a person, a human or what have you, most likely, you weren't any more, once you ended up in this bright and colorful place.
He wasn't sure he minded, really. Not when Thedas was the alternative.

Awkwardly, Kamala scuffed her hoof on the dirt, wondering just how well her suit would hold up among the snow that was being cleaned off the ground by plows and stuff. "I guess I could come help find her?"
"As for turning into a human, I don't think I can do that anymore. I can't even turn into Carol anymore..."

"I didn't think she had a last name. And the only God I know of is the Maker, none of this Celtic stuff." He didn't even know what Celtic was, for the love of little cheeses...
"Carol?" Alistair just looked blank, at that. Then again, that came easy.

Catching herself since Ms Marvel was her own title now, she gestured at the place here. "And I'm pretty sure Planet Unicorn doesn't get that many visitors from other worlds... I think. Doesn't explain why I'm a normal horse."

Then again, he kind of invited it, sometimes.
"Though I suppose normal horses don't talk. None of the ones on Thedas did, anyhow." He paused again, looking sheepish, and gave an awkward grin.
"So, what's a super hero? I know what a regular hero is, I suppose I could be counted as one." Even if Alistair didn't really feel much like it. Heroes were like Cailean Theirin, or Duncan. Not him.

She grinned a little, shaking her head before addressing the next question. "A super hero is a hero who protects people, but they have like capes and powers from various places. Like the mutants have them from birth, Captain America was injected with a cool serum that made him all buff, one of my favorites, Wolverine, has a healing factor!" She paused awkwardly. "Or uh, did. He lost it somehow. And then he kinda died."
The poor guy. He even bought her a gyro.

"I'm sorry," he said. "Were you very close?" Not that Alistair had much of a clue. About anything. Though the super hero bit...
"I suppose I do know something about super heroes, then. Though they don't really call them that, where I came from."
no subject
She grinned just a little. "Though he did like it when I called him a short angry man who punches things. He liked that."
She nodded. "You come from some fantasy world maybe? With the cape and stuff?"
no subject
"I...suppose? I mean, I guess there are probably other worlds. I've been to the Fade, after all. I come from Ferelden. Thedas? I figured you probably hadn't heard of it."
He hadn't heard of Jersey, after all, but that had to be a place, right?
