You know, Gaignun would totally be happy to talk about the tech from his future if Doc wants. He also knows loneliness

Gaignun is a pretty good listener and once shared the brain of an insane geneticist. At least he can understand high scientistese

Gaignun is more than interested in talking about the Foundation...and maybe combat tech...but he really wants to hear about Doc's stuff too! It sounds so interesting and full of hope.

That opportunity will come soon! Doc's still working on how to tell folks about his true plans. He can tell trusted folks, or at one point it'll leak to everyone that he's a time traveler anyway.

Actually, he might confess to whoever hits the building log I have up.
