[Levitating the cup, Nozomi takes a sip.]

Mmm, it's good.

As for what happens here, it... depends, sometimes it's something silly like being made older or younger, sometimes it's quite dangerous, like being invaded. But, it's nothing we can't handle...!

[She has no idea about what Mami can do or anything, though she gives her a reassuring smile]

Though, being here and having to deal with those things doesn't mean you absolutely have to deal with everything here. We're all in this together; something about friendship is magic... and I believe it.

[Mami puts on her own reassuring smile to counter the one given to her.]

Friendship is magic? I'll be glad to lend you a hoof. ...Hand.

[Another sip of tea.]

What are these invasions like? Does reality seem to warp and turn labyrinthine? Are they strange creatures?

Huh? Oh, no, no, nothing like that, I assure you!

[Well, there WAS the incident with Bertha, but...] The only strange creatures I've seen were Changelings, but they're nice now. They'd feed off of positive emotions, mostly love. But, their old ruler got dethroned and now there's a kind one and she's making sure they stay good.

[Mami smiles cheerfully.]

That's good news! I'd have to meet this new changeling ruler.

...You wouldn't have happened to see a white cat ferret thing? His name is Kyubey-san.

No, nobody like that here. We have some left over puppies!

[And she levitates one up, happily yapping before she set it down.]

Why do you ask, though? Is he important to you?

[Mami giggles a little as she waves to the cute puppy.]

It's very nice to meet you, puppy-kun!

You can say that Kyubey-san's a friend of mine.

[Mami is disappointed, but she isn't going to let any of that disappointment show. Either Kyubey isn't here, or Nozomi can't see him. Uncertainty at its worst. If she could get to Kyubey, Mami might be able to confirm whether or not there are witches here.]

Oh, I see! If I ever run into him, I'll let you know! Though...

[She blinks a bit, curious]

You're used to these sort of things, aren't you? Do these things happen where you came from?

[Mami's warm smile never leaves her face.]

You got me! I've had my fair share of craziness where I come from. I help protect the city from things called witches.

[Calm sip of tea.]

[Nozomi blinks in surprise, but doesn't overreact.]

Witches? Oh, they must be monsters where you came from! I've had my fair share of those myself.

[She blushes a bit at that.]

Sorry for finding out your secret. I-I won't tell, I promise!

[Mami smiles gently.]

Thanks, I appreciate it, Yumehara-san.

Those witches are a dreadful thing. They need to be destroyed. I use my magic to destroy them. I've been doing it for a long time, by myself.

By yourself? [Nozomi doesn't get the whole "destroy" thing just yet. She's used to purifying. However, it's the idea of doing things on her own that worries you.] If they're a bad thing, then you shouldn't have to do something like that by yourself!

Especially now...

Hey, don't worry! I just hadn't found anybody that could help until recently. Miki-san and Kaname-san just need to figure out what they want to wish for so they can become Magical Girls like I am.

You make wishes to become Magical Girls? That's so different from becoming Pretty Cure...

[And Nozomi gawks and buries her head in embarrassment.]

Ako's started to rub off on meeee...!

[Mami giggles a little.]

Take a sip! Maybe you'll be able to calm down.

Yes, you have to give a wish to Kyubey.

[Might as well go all the way with info.]

It can be any wish you want. But I suggest waiting until you make sure it's really the wish that you want. You only get one.

A wish that I want, huh? [As Nozomi raises up and takes a sip.] If I had to make a wish, I already know what I want.

But, I don't know if I want to take the easy way for it to happen.

[She takes another sip and looks at Mami.]

What did you wish for?

[Time to avoid the question. Because Mami feels depressed just thinking about that car crash. Naturally, she grins confidently.]

I didn't exactly have all the time in the world to make my wish. It's very important that you really know what you want to wish for.

May I hear what wish you have in mind?

[She calmly sips some tea.]

[Ah, a quick wish - probably forgot it by now. Nozomi doesn't press on.]

My wish? To free my friends from where we are. Not here in Equestria, though...

[She takes another sip.]

There's a place we came from called "Mayfield". A computer program made to look like a town in America. Everyone there, myself included, were nothing more than computer programs made to look like who we are.

I don't mind knowing there's another me there. I'd rather not die there. Even if it means spending my life here as a pony. That's my wish - to save them from such a world.

[Mami closes her eyes and breathes in, quickly taking apart the wish. "Friends". That means Nozomi isn't included in the wish. And there are so many meanings of being free from a computer program. Going to the outside world. Being allowed to roam the internet and the internet only. Escaping Mayfield but ending up trapped somewhere else. Complete deletion.

She opens up her eyes in a serious face.]

Still, I suggest you think about whether or not that's what you truly want. Whether or not yo include yourself in your friends or what the meaning of freedom truly means to you.

[Nozomi blinked at what Mami said. It was a bad wish? Was it how it was worded? The way it sounded, if she had made the wish, she could have put everyone's safety at risk.]

Ah... I see... I guess I will, then.

[She's not upset at you, Mami - that's evident by the fact that she smiles softly.]

I guess I may have made a mistake if I had went through it.

[Mami is relieved. There were so many ways that wish could have gone wrong, and Mami didn't want to see Nozomi go through with a bad wish. She may have gotten exactly what the wish was to the spirit, but what Nozomi wanted may not have been what she truly wanted. Kyoko made that mistake and suffered heavily for it.

Mami offers a reassuring smile.]

No worries! Just be sure what you want is what you really want, and you'll be fine.

Alright, then, I will!

[She takes another ship before stopping, something coming to her mind]

Oh, do you have a place to stay? If you don't, I have a place you can stay at!

[OOC: Eh... I already have 3 characters in game and I don't wanna stretch myself too thin.]

Great! I have a store I helped open up and there's room in there for a few others. I wanted to stop freeloading with the Apples and did this to help out!
