"You're just lucky, brat!" Zedd growls as another shatters. "But, you're no match for ME!"

With that, he aims his staff at Cynthia, lightning arching out of it and towards the heroine.

Cynthia goes tumbling backwards as the lightning rakes over her, slamming to the ground with an awkward-sounding thump.

And as Cynthia goes down, Zedd laughs menacingly.

"Did you really think you could win, brat? You're no match for me! Get out while you still have your dignity!"

Cynthia slowly pushes herself to her hooves, teeth clenched.

"One thing I know about heroism...is making A COMEBACK! AETHER!"

Lunging forward, the light of the sun shines down in a highly localized area around Cynthia as she slams her Brave Lance into Lord Zedd, several of the scorched patches on her flanks healing up as sunshiny sparkles play over them. Leaping backwards, she beats her wings several times before lunging forward, the light of the sun replaced by the moon's cool radiance as she unleashes a strike that pierces through his defenses.
