[It takes Celestia a moment to remember what the time was when she left. Was it 1012 or 2012? Judging from the state of tech, probably 2012.]

Only around a year and a half, then. Interesting. I suppose I have not missed too terribly much, nor have I been missed due to me still being here.

[She's going to have to talk to herself at some point. Not looking forward to that or explaining why she's a pirate of all things.]

I have come to realize that many, many universes are far from stable. It does not surprise me to learn that at least some forms of Equestria are the same way.

There have been developments. I would like to introduce you to your other self. She may be devouring cake at the moment; it is cake day. [Something you may know well Celestia.]

I am gladdened for the standard. It makes me unwell to know in some universes That Time was switched or perhaps something unforeseen has happened to put one of us into permanent exile.

[Yes, Cake day is an important thing. she upheld it even in space and even if it meant stealing from a local bakery. She'd leave the money to pay for it behind, of course, but just going in and buying things was generally a bad idea.]

It did feel like exile, at times, even if an involuntary one.

[Luna's going to have to make sure you're not doing that here, Tia. Baby Woona has some standards even if she'll wake you with The Spider Game.]

[No promises on the cake thing, though. Larceny is surprisingly fun and fun habits die hard.]

What is going on here?

A dimensional convergence centered on this Equestria wrought on by some entity known as the Pale Pony. Assumed of course.

[That's slightly beyond par for the course, but if the offworlders here were anything like that what she knew on the Thor, they were in good hands. Hooves.]

I suppose I should offer what help I can while I am here, in that case.

[At that, she draws the rifle from her back, pointing it up into the sky.]

I suppose a better idea would be to gather intel first, which would be easy if I had my ship with me.

There has been numerous movements to gather intel, and several of our locals have also looked for clues. However the amount of disappearances has not been unnoticed by even the others across the seas.

A very widespread incident, then. Perhaps these efforts will need to be coordinated, in that case. Is my other self taking any such measures?

I believe so. It would be remiss to believe she was lax for neigh on nine months since this incident began.

I am not allowed to simply announce myself during Cake Day? It would be rather entertaining to enter in through the window unannounced. I've gotten quite good at that.

[Oops she's going into pirate mode, complete with drawing a laser-bladed cutlass out of somewhere underneath her coat.]

[They're still in the middle of a Ponyville street, too.]

Yar and yo ho and all that! [And Luna lifts a curious flag, a pair of brightly colored underwear on a stick. She has completely gone full on hobo, please stop her.]

The sisters of the Galaxies need a ship. Fortunately there is one parked in Sweet Apple Acres for the borrowing. [Luna held up the Mobirates she had plucked from Ako recently to 'borrow' it.] We shall fly on a ship of the stars!

[Celestia decides to simply not question the underwear. She's seen weirder.]

Ah, you have a ship? This I must see.

[She blames her full hoboness on so much OOO she has consumed in a sitting.]

I am merely borrowing it, but it will suffice. It doubles as a giant robot.

[OOOh. ~~sorry the joke was there~~]

We won't be needing the robot. Merely the use of the ship shall suffice for my plans, though we may also need rope and a few weapons for you to 'use'.
