♥ Comment in with your characters's name, canon, and universe. Or, comment to others who have posted. ♥ Your characters are now in Equestria. They are also ponies, or creatures of Equestria at the very least. ♥ For those who desire to design themselves a pony for reference, here is a FiM Pony Creator to help out. ♥ The scenario can be anything you want, so long as it takes place in Equestria. ♥ Come on in, characters already in the game! Let's help out potential newcomers! ♥ These test threads can be used for application samples. Commentspam or prose is fine. ♥ Discord is a Pottgood shipper. Who knew? |

You and your head.]Did you really think it was jealousy which prompted me to prevent Madoka from contracting?

Of course I do.
[Calm tea sip.]
You've been after Kyubey-san since the day you found out about Kaname-san. What other reason could there be for your behavior?

I could never be jealous of Madoka. No matter what anyone might say or believe, not even you.
[She slowly began to bring her cup back to its hold, closing her eyes.]
Perhaps the best way to describe that feeling is...fear. Of what would happen when she made contact with that thing.
[A wind began to blow. Soft, but cold. Homura wasn't the all-powerful creature she was back home, but even this way, her feelings and thoughts could have a limited affect on the world, even when it was done involuntarily.]
She would have been the most powerful magical girl, of any universe, ever. But that fate isn't a blessing. That kind of power has always destroyed those who claimed that title...including the ones who died, right before even my very eyes.
[At this, she opened her eyes again.]
Even if you don't believe me, that such a blessing could become that kind of burden, then ask yourself this. As a "magical girl", do you think that I could simply allow someone like Madoka to succumb to that possibility? Would it not be more preferable to protect her from that lonely fate, as a "magical girl" could do, even if it meant giving up any chance that she could ever understand your reasons for doing so?
