[It doesn't take long for Marla to duck over behind Bertie. The Flaaffy finally catches up to her, softly bleating while Bertie gives his battle cry.

She whispers, in a low voice heavy with teenage awkwardness:]

Think you can distract it?

[As diving for the fell beastie seems to have missed, Bertie pulls up. The girl's over by him now asking a question.]

I'm trying to, old thing. Run while you bally well can, what?

Hold on, Dolly's here.

[She inches ever closer to the mini-sheep, and whispers something like:]

Thundershock. Now.

[Then, once again addressing Bertie:]

Okay, let's roll. I'm gonna flank left if you can take the right.

What in Celestia's name?! [Bertie can only really stare as the sheep apparently produces a lightning bolt.] What the deuce are you even doing, girl? It's a bally bird. Leave it be and get away from the dratted thing!
