Doubtful, since I'm pretty sure demons don't go to any kind of afterlife and I know my soul is still intact, anyway. Besides, I'm pretty sure purgatory wouldn't randomly cough people up to go back to their lives for a while.

Heh, usually but not always. We see our share of trouble and it's not always rated G. But if it bothers you, I could tone down the sunny cheerfulness for a while.

That's a switch, usually people who bribe me for weather control want me to stay away from beaches.

Back home, my company created an artificial beach meant for colonial satellites. It had extensive weather controls, including a thunderstorm option.

I think you're getting your definitions of comedy mixed up. Comedy traditionally referenced any play with a reasonably happy ending.

Perhaps, it stands to reason that some details would get distorted over the years. I was referring to more the slapstick routines from some of them.

To be fair, dramas tended to be more unique. Slapsticks usually follow more of a formula.

True, though so few of them have survived, we may only be seeing small examples of something that might have been formulaic.
