Something about her voice and expression caused Chiyo's fear to mostly melt away. She at least wasn't frowning anymore.

"O-Oh, yes! Um... I only came in a little bit ago... Wh-Where am I?"

She smiles, crouching down so she's more eye level with the bunny. "You're in a land called Equestria...Those who are from other worlds are changed into creatures native to here in order to fit in better..."

"Equestria..." She let that word echo in her mind a few times. "So..." She looks down at her paws. "It changed me into a bunny?" She looked back up at Fluttershy. "O-Oh! I'm so sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet... M-My name is Chiyo Mihama. I-It's very nice to meet you." And she bows a little. It's a bit strange in the bunny form, but it'll have to do.

"It would appear so..." And such a cute bunny as well!

The bowing is somewhat familiar, something she had seen some people in the Digital World do, and she bows her head a bit in return. "It's nice to meet you too, Chiyo. My name is Fluttershy..."

Her expression breaks into a smile; as far as she's concerned, she's safe right here. "S-So, um. What's this place like, Ms. Fluttershy? Is it... safe here?" Didn't hurt to ask, at least.

She can't help but hesitate at that, glancing away for a moment.

"W-Well...this place does have its own...dangers...But...for the most part, it's...nice."

She paused for a moment. "W-Well, it certainly looks nicer than... th-the last place I was..." She shudders. "I'm j-just hoping this is a n-nicer place than M-Mayfield was..."

"Mayfield...?" She perks up a bit at that. Hasn't she heard that somewhere before.

"So...you've been to another world as well?"

She nods just slightly, still shuddering. "I-It was... it wasn't a nice place... we were trapped in this... c-city... and it kept d-doing horrible things to us... t-to our friends... t-to everyone..." She's still traumatized from her stay there...

"O-Oh..." Instincts take over, and she gently nuzzles the rabbit. "I'm sorry...it must have been terrible..."

"I-it was... I-I don't want to remember that place anymore..." She closes her eyes and tries her hardest to stop the shuddering, to break her thoughts away from Mayfield. "I-I wish I could m-make it stop..."

She gently scoops up the bunny, hugging her as she tries to calm her down. "The best way to forget...is to make happier memories to replace the bad ones..."

She could have told Fluttershy just what they had done - but she didn't want to remember. And she didn't want to burden her with any more of what Mayfield was like. She latched onto Fluttershy and tried her hardest not to cry. She sniffled a time or two, but she wasn't going to cry. Not now. Not yet. Even though she was shedding a few tears already...

"Y-You're right... th-that's what I should do... Th-this looks like a h-happy place..." Full of color, of flowers, of friendly-looking ponies and animals. Not a dull, plain-looking city with droned people boring holes into your head with their stares...everyone here was smiling, and she should be too.

She finally let go, opened her eyes, and wiped the tears away. And she smiled. "O-Okay! Th-that's what I'll do, then. Make happier memories h-here..."
