Perry the Platypus | Phineas and Ferb | Dangan Roleplay CRAU
Not a bad warm, but a weird warm that he hasn't felt in over a month.
Perry cracked opened his eyes and immediately winced at the strong sunlight. Okay, so he was apparently outside somewhere, but why-?
It suddenly hit him like a brick what had just happened to him. Right, he had just confessed to a murder and blew up. A part of him wanted to cry over what he did, but this place was so confusing that he can't help but get up and look around. Besides he was in public and would rather not make a scene. He was a grown adult for crying out loud.
He doesn't seem to be too up to chatting, but feel free to talk to this weird platypus anyway.]

Well howdy, don't think I've seen you around these parts before. Welcome to Ponyville.

After a pause he decides to write down a question on his notepad (that he always had hush) and hands it to Applejack.]
Is this the afterlife?
no subject
Now Applejack doesn't use hers much, but she has a quill---for writing on that old scroll. She takes the pen between her teeth, and with an astounding display of dexterity, writes back.]
No afterlife here, no sir! We're alive---at least, I'm pretty darn sure of it. You're just in a new world, thanks to Ms. Calice and her summoning.
[Her hoof twitches a little when she writes that name.]
no subject
... Okay no, it was most likely not Monobear's fault. This just seems random for him.]
How am I here then?
no subject
Anyhow, a long time ago, there were magic mirrors between this Equestria---that's this world---and other worlds. Other Equestrias, and places nothing like here. I'm actually from one of those other Equestrias. Mostly like here, but a bit different.
You came through the mirror, pulled by the mare at the center of all this: Calice. She's got terrifying powers, watches over us all like a hawk. And slowly she's drawing us all in, pulling ponies one by one into the dead world inside her. She wants to absorb everything. All there is to know, all we are---to stamp it out. At least as far as I can figure.
[There's more to this story, more that's shaken her to her core, but maybe she shouldn't tell him quite yet.]
no subject
[A pause, finally realizing how confusing he probably sounds.]
Sorry, I should probably explain my situation.
You see I recently died, so it's a little confusing to me that anyone would be able to pull my "soul" into another universe with a new body, no matter how powerful.
no subject
I'm awfully sorry about that, mister.
But it doesn't surprise me. Death doesn't seem to stick 'round here lately. Folks have been killed, but they always pop right back fully cured. I'm thinking it's got something to do with her, 'cause it never worked like this in my Equestria.
no subject
[Ooookay enough talking to a stranger about how he deserved to die. He didn't want to come off as creepy.]
That's strange. This "Calice" must be amazingly powerful if she's able to reverse death like that.
[... A small part of him idly wonders if he could convince her to revive all of the people who died in the Tragic Kingdom.]

Discord continues squeeing as he floats over, picks Perry up, and hugs him to his chest like a plush toy.
At least he's being surprisingly gentle about it?]
no subject
Being hugged randomly wasn't entirely unpleasant, since he did need a little comfort, but he had no idea what this thing even was. Perry chitters in confusion at this thing.]
no subject
[Yes that answers nothing. After a little more hugging, Discord lifts Perry so that they're eye-level with each other and whispers:]
Don't tell anyone, but I put the first platypus together out of animal parts and duct tape.

[Discord squints at Perry.]
...Pfeffertonik?

So which platypus are you...? [Discord presses one of his big floppy goat ears up against Perry's chest.] I don't keep track of you all, you know, I pretty much let them do their thing.

I knew it! I said to myself "If there's one thing this place needs, it's a weird duck thing!" And it happened, it actually happened!
...You know, I really shouldn't waste such an amazing power like this. [ahem] You know what else this place needs?! A ton of cute girls in swimsuits!
[And he waits.]

[Of course he wanted to talk to him. Who didn't want to talk about girls in swimsuits? It's like there's something wrong with him.]
I can't get over how cute you are, c'mon!
no subject
But fine, he'll slow down just a little bit so that Teddie can catch up.]
no subject
But he's glad this guy slowed down for him. If he didn't know better, he'd almost think he was avoiding him...]
Hi. [That seems like a good start.] I'm Teddie.

You know, I don't think I ever saw anyone turn into whatever you are. [Although it looks familiar...] Everyone usually gets all pony-like.
