I...I had told Hiccup...the one who...got killed...I had told him that Donnie had...threatened me...b-but I...I never told him that I...I had planned to let myself get killed...so Donnie wouldn't come after me any more.

For a year I believed that due to my own shortcomings, I was responsible for my best friend being wiped from existence, and that I failed to save him when I and a group of friends went up against the megalomaniac that wiped him from existence in the first place.

And... because of that, I began pushing my friends away until someone else smacked sense into me.

I come from a world ravaged by war. There's magical radiation in places so bad, that it could be enough to kill you. There's barely any fruits and vegetables to eat, and there are groups of gangs called Raiders who make it a habit to go around pillaging, stealing, torturing, and doing other unspeakable things.
