Well, whatever's at fault for this big ol' mess here seems to think you'd be better off as a pony. Which is total bull, 'cause dragons are super rad. I mean, if I had the option when I came here, I totally would've been a dragon. Rustle up some treasure, snatch away a few fair maidens. Sounds like a blast.

[She props herself back on all four hooves and approaches Saft, offering a hoofshake.] Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Saft. Really diggin' the name, rolls off the tongue. Vinyl Scratch, at yer service.

So there's dragons here too? Maybe they'd know I'm not so dragony here?

[This makes about as much sense as turning into a dog upon arrival.]

But we don't steal treasure or kidnap any maidens or anything like that, Humans jump to conclusions all the time about stupid things like that. One or two of us might have a treasure collection but nothing like everyone thinks we own. And why would we go and take a maiden from their families? That doesn't even make any sense!

But uh, nice to meet you Vinyl.

Iunno. Maybe it'd stop bein' a whole thing if you guys knocked all that stuff off. I mean, I don't know what your dragons are like, but I'm still livin' fat off my share of scaly swag. Gotta keep a separate room for all that dough.

That's all legitimately acquired, though. No dragon slaying goin' on here. Don't got the physique for it.

So, what exactly do people--ponies do around here for fun?

Well, 'pends on what you're lookin' for. I mean, if you're the adventurous type you definitely lucked out here. Seems like every other day there's somethin' new going down. Can't swing a dead cat without hittin' some kinda giant monster or deep cosmic mystery.

Most'a the time, though, you just gotta make your own fun. Whole lotta parties bein' thrown lately, which is super fine by me. And Nightmare Night's just around the corner, if you've got a sweet tooth on ya.

[Sounds like Saft lucked out then. It'd drive her nuts if she had been turned into a pony and had nothing to do but graze and trot around all day she would have been bored out of her mind.]

Alright, next question...

Where am I supposed to stay?

Maybe just try and ask around a little. Most'a the locals are probably willing to have ya under their roof for a little while, long as you can pull your weight. Heck, some space just opened up at my place if you don't mind if things get a little noisy every now an' again.

Plus there's this weird kinda hippy commune, if you're down for that sorta thing. Not really sure what their deal is, but they seem to be gettin' along pretty well over there.

How d'you feel about puzzles?

I dunno, I'm not usually one for messing around with them too often, But I can always give it a shot.

Not that I'd be able to though... [She looks down at her hooves.] I'm starting to miss having fingers already.

Well, you're gonna have to make do, 'cause the last tenant was real into that stuff. Left all her loose belonging's layin' around when she up an' went poof.

Oh yeah, that'll happen sometimes too. Sometimes they come back, but I wouldn't count on it. Leave just as easy as ya come in, y'know?
