Different regenerations? [She frowns.] Oh, God, don't tell me there's some sort of weird time thing where he's talking to himself now. [Perfect. As if he isn't mad enough.] Well, all right. Isn't that just wizard. [Look how enthused she is Pollo. It's not very.]

Who're you then? Another one of his companions? [There's more warmth there. She remembers how nice it had been meeting Martha and commiserating with her about the Doctor... not to mention gossiping.]

Companion? Well...we were trapped in a city together once? We were friends...

[Enough of that, he's being stupid.] My name's Pollo.

I'm Donna. Donna Noble. [She smiles at Pollo.]

How were you trapped, though? Didn't he have the TARDIS?

No. We'd all been brought there from different dimensions, and we woke up without any of the things we'd had on us before. I hear everyone got out eventually, though, so I'm sure he found it again.

I don't remember him mentioning anything like that. Did you know an earlier him, then? Or... did he ever mention me?

[Might be the easiest way to gauge when that Doctor had been.]

No, it was an earlier him than either of these two. Probably before he met you - mine had sort of longish brown hair, to here. [He gestures to about his shoulders.] And liked wearing cravats?

Hah! Well, all right. Then it's safe to say he made it out, yeah? He's made it to these two, right? Unless there's some universal transmongrification whatever he's on about with timelines.

I don't think he ever mentioned you, though. [Granted, Rose was really the only one he ever mentioned. Martha had come up for simple necessity.]

Anyway, do you know where he is at the moment? Or what's going on? Were you always a horse...?

Well, one of them lives on the commune here - [Pollo leans back, probably looking out a window.] - though I don't see him at the moment...and the other one lives over the shop in town shaped like a cupcake. I can't tell you much more about what's going on than anyone else, though, only that a fair number of us have been brought here and turned into ponies. I used to be an android.
