Oh, really? Because he came bursting through the doors to my room, literally, and tearing me a new behind complete with a swirling void, metaphorically, when I told everyone how much I missed my boyfriend.

I told him I was perfectly fine with everyone knowing I was gay. It's one of the few things about myself I can say with any degree of certainty. But he insisted I was crazy.

The doctors in your world fucked up. They were wrong. It happens, and it's fucked up and tragic and terrible, but they were wrong about it being a sickness.

I'm sorry it made your lives a certain kind of secretive hell, but could you try not to make that hell spill over into everyone else's lives?
