In fact, he's probably initiating that hug with you right now since gods of chaos don't care much for personal space. It doesn't last long, though, as he instantly poofs away and reappears dressed as a scientist.)

Hello, new friend, and welcome to the world of PONIES! My name is Discord; I occasionally refer to me as a Pony Professor. You see, this world is inhabited by colorfully cuddly creatures called PONIES. Some of them sing! Some of them use magic. To me...well, they're just a lot of fun.

Good question. Occasionally in the dead of night I wake up, panting and heaving, in a haze of dissipating nightmares. And I wonder: who am I? What am I? Will any identities I give myself even matter once I cease to exist, and all memory of my life fades away into the slowly ebbing tides of the universe?
